Smithville Cigar Store
The second of two identical buildings opened as the Smithville Cigar Store in 1895. From 1910 to 1925, the building housed a saloon, a shoe shop, a dry goods store, and the shop of A.C. Wrede, Jeweler and official railroad watch inspector. In 1925, the building was divided for a barber shop, a cleaning and pressing establishment, a veterinary clinic, a beer joint, and the Liberty Cafeacute; (1951-69).
