This is a site of photos from primarily the central Texas areas. However, we do wander into other areas of Texas so we are never sure what may go on the site. In other words, we are slowly "Waltzin' Across Texas". We have been publishing books related to some of the items on this site on Amazon. If you have any questions or information that would add to the site, let us know. Hope you enjoy. We have started blogging on the site as we find items that are interesting.

I'm interested in the Eagles Nest fight between Lt Bullis and the 3 Black Seminole Scouts vs the Comanche's. Where is the site of the battle? I saw the marker you took a photo of, is this in Langtry or outside of town?

Texas, Kimble County historical marker photo #17 - Peg Leg Station
Dick Dublin is my great great uncle on my fathers side along with Roll and Dell. My brother is named Dell. This part of the family history wasn’t talked about often, but hinted about at holidays. My grandmother was probably the last person alive that knew all the dirty details. The story would make a great movie.
